Situated in the grounds of the Union Pub the Tavistock Bunkhouse is right in the centre of Tavistock which nestles in to the Dartmoor hills, close to the Tamar Valley, an area of outstanding natural beauty.  The accommodation is located next to the hugely popular Devon Coast to Coast Cycle Route which stretches for more than 100 miles and includes the Tarka Trail, the Granite Way, the Drake trail and the Plym Valley Trail.  It’s also within easy reach of the Gawton and Tavi Woodlands downhill mountain bike trails.

It’s a perfect destination to stopover if you are taking an active short holiday break walking the coastal path, enjoying the Dartmoor National Park or exploring by bike.

The Bunkhouse is a great place to use as a base while you take part in outdoor activities in Dartmoor from canoeing to walking and climbing. The activities around our Tavistock base will entertain, inspire and challenge you.
